We have had ours installed for a week now and so far we really like it. The installation wasn't too bad, but it would have been even better if it was readily mentioned that there was no plug included. Be sure to read the Installation Instructions in detail beforehand.

The buzzer is LOUD; you won't miss it. Regular operation is not too noisy.

We were limited with space so we went with this stackable. We are very happy with this up to now. Yes the buzzer is not only loud but aggravating. Good thing is it only took 15 minutes to disconnect this to prevent being woken from a dead sleep when this would go off. Happy with product and sleeping soundly! Leave an email if you need assistance in disconnecting buzzer..

Thanks to krisdavetba who wrote a previous review, my new laundry is working beautifully. I would have expected the Sears people to remove the drum braces when it was delivered, since they did all the rest of the unpacking prep...but they didn't. I'm happy I remembered reading krisdavetba's comments after my new washer started jumping all over the place. We took off the front bottom panel and removed the shipping braces and the styrofoam packing and now it spins like a dream. I love my new machine so far and sure hope it lasts as long as others have written. The dryer works beautifully, too. Yes, the buzzer is a bit loud, but nothing I can't handle.

I bought this unit a month ago to replace an old washer/dryer combo that came with my condo. At first I was afraid this unit would be too big (the washer capacity is twice the size of my old one - old one was maybe 1.5 cubic feet), but it fit in the space pretty well. Yes, the buzzer is very loud, as others have said, but if I'm prepared for it going off it's not as bad (still should be quieter, though). I thought the dryer had an issue with long drying time but it turned out my dryer vent needed to be cleaned (a bird ended up getting stuck in the vent). Now, the clothes get dried in 2-3 hours. And this is with twice as many clothes in a load as my old washer, due to the bigger washer capacity (I now do 2 loads a week, as opposed to 4). So I'm happy with my purchase.

I love this washer dryer combo machine! Bought it back in August when my 20 year old ThinTwin gave out on me. I bought this based on the reviews here at sears.com. I agree with most other reviews that the ONLY complaint I have about it thusfar is the buzzer. I live in an apartment and I'm sure my neighbors can hear it, but I've not yet had a complaint. It does make me jump from 2 rooms away every time it goes off and I have this unnatural fear of not wanting to be near the machine when it's going in case that darn buzzer goes off. My clothes always come out clean and looking great, the dryer seems to take only 30-40 minutes to get even towels dry, I'm really impressed. The washer and dryer drum have both been big enough to fit my king sized down comforter with no issues! Twice as much space as my old stackable and a great way to save some money in these times by using FAR less water then I could ever imagine!

Great Machine! I recommend it highly! Super quiet front load washer Very fast spin, which dries the clothes out. Dries clothes quickly. We had a stackable Kenmore for about 15 years. It was durable, but noisey and the clothes took way too long to dry. This machine is such an amazing step up. The day my Kenmore broke down, this machine was on sale for between 8 and 9 hundred. I grabbed it. It is the same machine as the comparable model sold by other stores, but Sears has a better price. Other reviewers warned about the loud buzzer, but it is a non-issue, really. I waited several months to write this because I wanted to really know the machine. It is truly amazing. You really can't hear the washer at all, and the dryer is quiet too. You can trust this purchase. I am very pleased with it. I am happy that I got it at such a great price.

I love this machine now that I have it working properly. I had it installed but the installation team did not install it correctly! Make sure the shipping braces on the bottom of the drum are taken off or it will jump all around every time it goes to spin water out. Also make sure it is plugged in alll the way they almost burnt my house down! The clothes come out cleaner than my old conventional machine and drier right out of the wash the spin cycle is GREAT! I am very happy with my choice.

Like most of the reviews, the washer & dryer buzzer is SUPER LOUD even I get startled when it buzzes. The clothes are pretty wet after the spin cycle so when you put the clothes in the dryer, it takes 2.5 to 3 dryer cycles before clothes are completely dry. Also, the dryer doesn't get really hot because when I open in the middle of the drying cycle, the clothes are warm, not hot to the touch. It's not energy efficient if I have to do more than 1 dry cycle every load (if it's a small load). Maybe my units are lemons...but I'm calling Frigidaire to have my units checked out (6 mos. old) but I'm pretty bummed about the quality of this front loader; I expected more versus top loader.

I bought this based on reviews. As everyone else said, the buzzer is extremely loud, so I called Sears and they sent someone out to disable it. There's actually two separate ones. I've only had this unit for 2 weeks and I just made an appointment to get the washer fixed. Like lpetric3 said, mine makes a terrible thumping and clanging sound no matter how little I put in the washer. Two things and it still makes the noise. I do have to say, it does get my clothes very clean, but the spin cycle doesn't get nearly enough water out(probably because something is broken), so I need to put my clothes through the 80min timed cycle 3 times just to get them dry. I haven't had any trouble with the dryer other than the drying time, but I can tell it's getting hot enough, the clothes are just too wet when I put them in. It's so much quieter than the washer. I'll write another review once the washer is fixed. If it still makes the thumping sound, I'm returning it and getting something else.
